New Art City Theatre is an incubator of new work for the stage, seeking out new, compelling, and innovative plays and musicals and helping the writers shepherd their work from the page to the stage. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit professional theatre, NACT gives back to the community by keeping it’s programs and productions free or deeply affordable. NACT is pop-up theatre and the company has produced all over Ventura County, but the Annual Festival of New Plays and Musicals takes place in downtown Ventura.
